Marji Hajic, MS, OTR/L, CHT is an Occupational Therapist, a Certified Hand Therapist, and the owner of the Hand Therapy & Occupational Fitness Center of Santa Barbara.
Having trained with a Board Certified Hand Surgeon and having participated in Hand Clinics with orthopedic surgeons at a busy county hospital, Marji is skilled in the therapeutic assessment and rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity injuries, in wound care, and in the fabrication of custom splints.
Born and raised in Northern California, Marji graduated from San Jose State University with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1990.She began specializing in the treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries in 1992. Since then, she has treated a wide range of traumatic, repetitive and arthritic injuries in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
In addition to providing clinical services, Marji has published weekly articles on an ergonomic website, performs work site assessments, ergonomic interventions and community education, and maintains an educational website on the prevention and recovery on hand and upper extremity injuries.

my right hand especially fists up at night and causes some pain in the morning…what are causes and treatment, have had tendonitis in my 20’s no injuries since…now in my late 50’s
